Mark Wahlberg Went to a Frat Party With His Daughter and Loved It
Actor Mark Wahlberg was first introduced to audiences everywhere as a young star, so it can still be hard to grasp that The Family Plan star is a father to teenagers of his own. His oldest child Ella is in college at Clemson University in South Carolina and apparently has a lot of fun activities at her disposal when her parents aren't around.
Wahlberg visited Ella for parents' weekend and got a taste of the college experience he never had. In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Ted star dished on what it was like getting to visit a college in the south and experiencing some typical college kid fun. That included tagging along with Ella to a frat party on campus.
The party, for Wahlberg, was the highlight of the trip. "They were having the most fun I've ever seen anybody have, ever! Even more than her coming to Vegas," Wahlberg recounted. "I was at the frat house and, you know, a couple of spots in town."
"It was nuts," he added. "Parents' weekend was incredible."
Becoming famous at a young age meant Wahlberg didn't get the typical college experience that many Americans go through. When looking back on what could've been, Marky Mark admitted he would've had to leave college kicking and screaming.
"I'd still be in college," Wahlberg said. "I would still be at the frat house. I'd be a 25th-year senior."
Wahlberg might live in Vegas now, but it seems the most fun to be had is on a college campus.
