Mondelēz International, Inc.’s Sour Patch Kids Watermelon has turned into so much more than the sour candy. For Easter this year, the pieces were made into jelly beans, and for summer, it inspired a new ice cream-sorbet treat. That’s not the end of the bites, however, and Frankford Candy has taken the reigns on creating Sour Patch Kids Watermelon Marshmallows!

You might remember that Frankford Candy released Sour Patch Kids Marshmallows over two years. Naturally, it caused quite a stir in the snack world and brought out the skeptics of the sour, yet fluffy, treats. Something must have went right though, because now the watermelon variety of the classic candy is getting the marshmallow treatment.

As detailed on the packaging that was snapped by Instagram account @junkpickers, the snack consists of sour-coated marshmallows. The pieces are in the shape of triangles and are a red-pink and green to look like actual watermelon slices. Just like the sour-then-sweet candy, you should get the sour element from the coating and the sweetness from the marshmallow.
