Martha Stewart Offers Meghan Markle a Smart Piece of Advice for Her New Brand

Martha Stewart may have a new competitor in Meghan Markle, but she's not put off by the Duchess of Sussex's entrance into the homemaking space.
In a new interview with Extra’s Billy Bush during the Nassau Paradise Island Wine & Food Festival, the two chatted about the mother of two's new business venture, American Riviera Orchard, which is reportedly an extension of her old lifestyle blog, The Tig, set to offer a wide range of home goods, including jellies, jams and spreads, tableware staples, and cookbooks. Naturally, Stewart had a piece of solid advice as the royal wades into new waters.
"Megan Markle has said that she wants to become a brand like Martha Stewart: 'I want to be like Martha,' she said," Bush boasted while sipping a glass of white wine with the legendary homemaker.
"I just read that today," she replied, leading Bush to joke, "You and I are reading the same sources!"
"Well, I'm flattered," she continued, with Bush interrupting her to demand she "give the advice" to Markle.
"Produce good products that work and will help the homemaker have a nicer life," she suggested. "That's what it's all about."
Stewart could, perhaps, stand to take her own advice, though, based on her most recent dinner service that left fans "shook." The professional didn't make it herself but was proud to show off the "terrifying" concoction on social media, which featured a Frankenstein-esque creation involving a lobster and a cornish hen.
"If this is fine dining, I’m fine not dining," one follower quipped, suggesting that a re-evaluation might be in order.
