Martha Stewart is as busy as ever: On top of opening a restaurant this year, she also recently teamed back up with her friend and business partner, Snoop Dogg, to promote their new BIC EZ Reach lighter collections.
While Snoop's refreshed designs feature different pictures of the rapper, Stewart's elegant faux stone collection comes in eight gorgeous options, including malachite, onyx, travertine, and yellow marble. The new designs will be available for purchase on BIC.com and at Walmart stores nationwide beginning May 1.
But her lighter line isn't the only thing she's celebrating. While chatting with Woman's Day, Stewart also shared her excitement over her new Skechers line of "work shoes, exercise shoes, and even some fancier shoes," as well as her CBD products for dogs and for people.
"I'm working on the most beautiful skincare line, called 86 Elm," she shares. "It's CBD-infused and very, very beautifully formulated by me and my dermatologist partner, Dr. Bhanusali, a young derm who is such a good chemist."
We know Martha has good taste, and she attributes her great skin in part to 86 Elm. "I use it all the time — my skin is so good, I think as a result of using the CBD skincare."
Even the mogul has to deal with supply chain issues — she mentions container problems — but the line is "coming along beautifully" and will launch soon with a tonic, serum, mask, and night cream. "We are working on other products, too, for hands, and for décolleté, and body cream, all of which I think is extremely efficacious," Stewart continues. "We are finding out more and more every day about the benefits of CBD for anti-inflammatory and autoimmune... all this good stuff."
As far as other skincare products Stewart uses, she's been a fan of Mario Badescu for decades. "They have taken care of my skin at their lovely spa on 52nd street for more than 40 years. They do the best facials in New York, they really care, and the products are really good."
Clé de Peau, which Stewart worked with on a TikTok campaign, is a beauty must. "I have all Clé de Peau on today," she tell us, showing off her pout with an air kiss over Zoom. "Clé de Peau I mix with my 86 Elm for the foundation. And always, always, always, SPF has to be in something when I put it on in the morning. I like Skinceuticals. I also like makeup that has SPF in it, and Clé de Peau does."
Stewart reveals the most important parts of her nighttime skincare routine as well. First and foremost, "Wash your face every night — a lot of people go to bed with their makeup on. I was shocked!" she says.
"My face wash is Clé de Peau, an oil-based cleanser. It takes off everything. I use a warm washcloth, and then slather on the tonic and the serums," she says with a laugh. "Don't take shortcuts. I think that's the secret to good skin — no shortcuts."
