Martha Stewart Has Some Words About Being Called Hot at 82

Martha Stewart's thirst traps have earned her immense praise from fans, but when asked how she feels about all the recognition, her candid response may surprise you.
The topic emerged during her Friday, Dec. 8, appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. While Stewart discussed her 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut and recent honors of being named one of the Most Stylish People of the Year by The New York Times, Barrymore asked the 82-year-old, "How does it feel to be this hot?"
"I had to wait a long time," Stewart said with a laugh. "It's like sad, you know?"
"You wait so many years, and then, finally, you're 'hot?'" she went on, "Oh God, I was hot when I was, you know, 19."
While the lifestyle mogul has always been gorgeous, she's aged like a fine wine–better with time!
And her looks aren't the only part that's improved as she's grown older, as her confidence has apparently received quite the boost, especially since posing for her SI Swim feature.
In fact, she's already hinted at wanting to give the magazine another go, but next time, she said she's going to bare even more skin and pose for the cover photo wearing a bikini.
"I'm working on the bikini body now," Stewart told People when reporters caught up with her on the red carpet at the 2023 Footwear News Achievement Awards held in New York City last month.
Wearing a two-piece is her "new objective."
That said, she has no regrets about her first cover shoot, which saw the Martha Stewart Living namesake rocking a red-hot one-piece with a plunging neckline, telling the outlet that "every day" on set in the Dominican Republic "was fun."
