Martin Luther King Jr.’s nine-year-old granddaughter, Yolanda Renee King, delivered an incredibly powerful speech at the March for Our Lives rally on Saturday.

The Washington march was organized by the student survivors of the February 14 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, that killed 17 people. Performers included Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato. Student-speakers included Parkland survivors David Hogg and Delaney Tarr.

One survivor, Jaclyn Corin - who previously spoke to Seventeen about organizing the rally - wrapped up her speech by saying she had a surprise special guest.

That guest was Yolanda Renee King, the granddaughter of Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King, who told the crowd that she has “a dream that enough is enough.”

"My grandfather had a dream that his four little children would not be judged by the color of their skin, but by their character. I have a dream that enough is enough, and that this should be a gun free world, period," she said, while holding hands with Corin.

Then, the nine-year-old asked the crowd to chant with her: “All across the nation. We are going to be a great generation!”

She finished by having the cheering crowd give themselves a round of applause. But she got the loudest cheers on social media, with supporters saying she certainly takes after her grandfather.
