All Marvel Films Releasing in 2024

Marvel has four films releasing in 2024, and three of them are Spider-Man spinoffs.

Although only one of those films is part of the grand, interconnected universe known as the MCU (Deadpool 3), Marvel isn’t slowing down any time soon, with a new film coming every three months.

Here’s what awaits you, in order of release.

Madame Web - February 14, 2024

Marvel’s 2024 slate kicks off with Madame Web, a female-led, New York-set drama centring on an enigmatic Spider-Man character who can see the future. Dakota Johnson stars as Madame Web alongside Sydney Sweeney, Emma Roberts, Isabela Merced, and Adam Scott. The first trailer didn’t exactly capture audience imaginations, however, with fans making a meme out of Johnson’s monotone line, “He was in the Amazon with my mom when she was researching spiders right before she died.”

Deadpool 3 - July 26, 2024

With this the first and only official Disney/Marvel film on this list (the others are produced by Sony Pictures), there’s every reason to believe Deadpool 3 is going to have some fun with the MCU. We’ve already seen leaks of Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine, yellow suit and all, and with Deadpool well-known for breaking the fourth wall, there’s probably more self-aware cameos to come.

Kraven The Hunter - August 30, 2024

Another Spider-Man character gets the standalone film treatment, with Kraven The Hunter following in the footsteps of Morbius and Venom (although hopefully closer to the latter than the former). Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays Kraven, a man with enhanced strength, speed, and stamina conferred to him after an incident with a big cat. It’s not clear if Spider-Man himself will show up, but the film could use an extra boost after its fairly generic debut trailer.

Venom 3 - November 8, 2024

The most successful Spider-Man spinoff film to date sees Tom Hardy reprise his role as Eddie Brock, the reporter infected by an alien symbiote who wants nothing more than to eat brains. After spending the last two films getting Venom under control, it’s not clear what awaits him in the trilogy capper, but leaks have revealed there’s at least one sequence set during Mexican celebration the Day of the Dead.
