Prior to The Masked Singer's season 3 to premiere, Fox strategically dropped hints as to who would be participating in the latest installment of the guessing game. Or, at least, which costumes would take the stage.

On Jan. 17, Fox introduced the Kangaroo via Twitter. Unlike most costume announcements, however, this one came with a philanthropic message. In the tweet, Fox shared that The Masked Singer would be, "donating to WIRES who help rescue and care for wildlife affected by the fires in Australia."

In addition to warming hearts and earning applause, this announcement led to a number of fans trying to figure out which celebrity is behind the Kangaroo.

Who is the Kangaroo?

Aside from the tweet and a few sneak peaks at the upcoming season, fans weren't given a lot of information about the Kangaroo's identity. Initial guesses included Hugh Jackman, since the Red Kangaroo is the national animal of Australia; Mike Tyson, given the Kangaroo's boxing attire; and Jerry O'Connel who had a role in 2003's Kangaroo Jack.

But all of these guesses (and many that came after) were proven wrong during the April 8 episode when the Kangaroo was eliminated from the competition and revealed to be Jordyn Woods.

The premiere clue package highlighted the fact that the Kangaroo is coming back from a bad year. One where she lost a loved one and was subjected to bullying. This could describe Jordyn Woods, who reportedly got together with Tristan Thompson while he was dating (and expecting a baby with) Khloe Kardashian. She also lost her dad in that same time frame.

Prior to this, people only knew Woods as Kylie Jenner's best friend. Following the incident, however, Woods was a household name for all the wrong reasons, which the Kangaroo made mention of.

But there were more clues in the Feb. 5 package that hinted to the Kangaroo being Woods. The camera panned over a pile of beauty products, which could be a nod to Woods' connection to makeup mogul Kylie Jenner. It could also reference Woods' work with Kylie Cosmetics, as well as her own makeup tutorials.

The Feb. 12 episode made even more hints towards Woods. The package was read by Kangaroo's little brother. For those looking into Woods' family tree, she does indeed have a younger brother named Joshua. Following the performance, the Kangaroo read a Valentine's Day card for guest judge Leah Remini. The card read, "we’ve sat at the same table and your courage has inspired me." Both Remini and Woods have appeared on Red Table Talk, a Facebook series hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield-Norris.

When the Kangaroo returned to battle on April 1, the celebrity reiterated that she was "vilified by rumors" and "been through hell" over the past year — something Woods can relate to. The following week, when facing off against Night Angel, the Kangaroo revealed some more clues that hint at it being woods. Mainly, there was a lipstick in her bag, another connection to Jenner.

After the reveal, Woods took a moment to thank the judges for encouragng her week after week.

"I was extremely nervous every performance, but but honestly the words from you guys made me more confident every single show," Woods told the panel.

She then told the audience that, in addition to her love of the show, she joined season 3 because it "felt like an opportunity for people to see a different side of me that not even I knew existed."

After her time on the show, there's a good chance that will happen.
