Mason Ho Films Clay Marzo Getting Barreled at Desert Point (Watch)

Maui's Clay Marzo has a rep as one of the world's most talented tube riders, especially when it comes to lefthand slabs.

And that's exactly what Indo's Desert Point provides.

Last year, we saw Marzo and Mason Ho trading waves at the Lombok surf break and now, they're at it again. Except in their latest edit, Marzo, who's known as the first to master the frontside layback in the tube, is getting filmed by Ho.

The edit above is captioned:

"CLAY MARZO DESTROYING an average swell in Lombok. Mason Ho grabs Rory Pringle’s camera to film his childhood friend / favorite surfer. The boys head to Desert Point to stack up clips for SNAPT5 “The Final Cut”. Here are some extras!"

The video is pretty much surfing only, with a soundtrack featuring rapper Andre Nickatina.

There's a little chit-chat from Ho at the beginning, and Marzo says a few words at the end.

Other than that, the vid is barrel after barrel.

The two are cruising around Indo in search of surf while waiting for a swell big enough to kick off the Rip Curl Padang Cup.

Earlier this month we saw them getting tubed Padang Padang during an expression session with other rippers like Taj Burrow, Koa Smith, and the local pros.

At the end of the edit, we get some insight from Marzo.

"What do you think Clay?" Ho asks.

"I dunno. Just live to surf. Dream it. Get barreled. Pull in," Marzo answers. "Just always know it's coming."

Words of wisdom.
