Mauricio Umansky, Kyle Richards 'Not Separated' Despite Recent Issues
Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards are reportedly working on their marriage.
Following months of divorce rumors, Umansky shed new light on the couple's relationship, confirming that the two are "not separated," as previously reported, though they are admittedly dealing with their "own issues."
While appearing on Thursday's episode of The Agency's Red Mic podcast, Umansky addressed the situation and his relationship with Richards and explained that the two have not broken up, but they have had a "difficult year."
“We were dealing with our own things, kind of, super quietly and internally, just our own issues,” he shared. “I mean, certainly, we’re not separated. We’re not divorced at this point. We are not any of that stuff."
"We’ve been married for 27 years now together, and it’s been an amazing 27 years," he said, before clarifying, “it’s been an amazing 26 years and it’s been a difficult one year."
As he continued, the real estate mogul noted that he and his wife "are blessed." He explained, "We actually had 26 years that we did not have a bad year and I know most marriages have bad months, bad weeks [and] bad years."
The 53-year-old's latest statements come just 48 hours after The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was spotted cheering him on during his Dancing With the Stars season 32 debut–a gig he previously said he's hopes will help him "get my mind off of [marriage issues] and have some fun."
Richards, 54, has also gone on the record saying that the topic of the couple's relationship issues is "just too much to deal with right now," noting that she and her husband still "care about each other so much" and have continued to work on their relationship and even recently went on vacation overseas as a family.
The Halloween Kills actress and the real estate broker released a joint statement about their rumored separation to Instagram this past July, stating at the time that the claims of a divorce were "untrue."
"However, yet, we have had a rough year," they insisted. "The most challenging one of our marriage."
"But we both love and respect each other tremendously," they asserted at the time, while stressing that there has been "no wrongdoing on anyone's part."
The couple's statements didn't deter fans from snooping around and trying to unscramble the "issues" puzzling the couple–insisting that Richards has already moved on with musician Morgan Wade, something she's vehemently denied.
