McDonald's Announces 3 Returning Menu Items as Customers Say 'All Is Right With the World Again'
McDonald's is reviving some of its fall menu items that are perfectly aligned with the change of seasons: pumpkin spice-flavored coffees and treats.
Food blogger Markie Devo shared the news in an Instagram post on Thursday, Aug. 22, noting that "McDonald’s is bringing back their awesome PSL and Pumpkin & Crème Pie."
Along with an image of the seasonal, limited-time delectables, he also conveniently detailed what each of the offerings tastes like. The Pumpkin Spice Latte & Iced Coffee is "a perfect blend of creamy whole milk and espresso brewed from sustainably sourced beans with the sweet hints of pumpkin and cinnamon flavors."
Meanwhile, for dessert, fans can indulge in the Pumpkin and Crème Pie, which is "Made with spiced pumpkin puree, vanilla flavored crème filling; all wrapped inside McDonald's signature pastry crust."
Per the social media post, the selections will be available at select locations nationwide starting Aug. 30, 2024, while supplies last—and of course not for long, as they'll only be around during the harvest season.
While Devo seemed to appreciate the comeback menu choices, he did have to admit, "A pumpkin McFlurry would totally rock my basic B socks….just saying @mcdonalds ??."
In the comment section, followers weighed in with their thoughts on the lineup.
"Ooo coffee too?!??," one raved, while another exclaimed, "Yay!" in response to news that they're set to show up in her city.
A third seemed intrigued, admitting, "?? I may have to try a pumpkin pie if they show up in my little town. ??," while a fourth lamented, "I miss those pies so bad, ours just keep the guava ones pretty much all year."
Pumpkin spice additions aside, fans of the eatery have recently been in a frenzy to get their hands on the chain's nostalgia-inducing collectible cups and plush toys.
