McDonald's Is Bringing Back a Limited-Time Fall Pie Flavor—and Fans 'Need It'

McDonald's is bringing back a limited-time pie flavor for the fall that has left fans declaring, "Need it!" Even better? Some locations have already have the offering on their menus.

On Saturday, Aug. 17, food blogger Snackolator took to Instagram to share that they spotted the Pumpkin and Cream Pie locally on the fast-food restaurant's app.

"This is a returning favorite that features pumpkin pie filling on one side and sweet creme filling on the other," they explained. "While it is showing up in the app for me locally, it might not be available in all markets."

Snackolator suggested that customers "check your app before heading out as this might take a few weeks to roll out and, as always, not all markets participate!"

In the comments, Instagram users reacted to the news of the Pumpkin and Cream Pie returning to McDonald's. One person wrote, "YES! I loved this one," while another declared, "Need it!"

Someone else suggested, "Need to make a McFlurry with this." (Side note: This can be done by purchasing a cup of vanilla ice cream and mixing in a chopped-up pie.)

"Not at my local one yet??," a different Instagram user lamented.

Yet another person was on board with the seasonal flavor, writing, "YES ??."

Still, not everyone was thrilled about the Pumpkin and Cream Pie coming back to McDonald's. One customer wondered, "Why not a new flavor? Maple cream pie? Or something. Apple and Custard Pie"

Someone else shared, "I don’t remember this being all that great, but definitely looking forward to trying it again!"
