McDonald's to Drop 2 Brand New Mouthwatering Dipping Sauces
McDonald's is adding two new mouthwatering sauces to its roster, making eating chicken nuggets even more enjoyable.
Snack influencer Markie Devo shared the news on his Instagram page, displaying the two debuting condiments: Mambo and Sweet & Spicy Jam.
The Mambo one appears to be similar to the Mumbo Sauce, which was popularized in Washington, D.C. The McDonald's version is made with ketchup, onion powder, vinegar, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and soy sauce.
Meanwhile, the Sweet & Spicy Jam appears to be a heat-focused alternative to the classic Sweet 'N Sour Sauce and the beloved Szechuan Sauce. It's made with red bell pepper, cayenne, and Szechuan pepper extract, sweetened with sugar and corn syrup.
Devo mentioned in his post's caption that according to employees, "these sauces will run for a very limited time." He also included an image provided by the fast food restaurant's staff, which shows that the Mambo sauce features a star, while the Sweet & Spicy Jam has a flame on it. The condiments make their arrival on October 9.
In the comments, many expressed how excited they were to try the latest additions to McDonald's menu. "Wowowowow these sound great ??," someone wrote. Another commenter noted, "Deff going for these ??????."
Before Devo's announcement, McDonald's teased the arrival of the sauces on social media, sharing a photo featuring all of its classic sauces in a drawer with two empty spots. The caption reads, "if there were new sauces coming 10.9 would u want me to tell u."
