McDonald's Turns Up the Heat With Return of Beloved Menu Item
McDonald's is spicing up its menu once again with the return of a fan-favorite item, available for a limited time only.
According to an Instagram post announcing the sizzling comeback, the fast food giant is bringing back their Spicy Chicken McNuggets for a limited time at select McDonald's locations.
"Rolling out the forking red carpet ??????" wrote Instagram food blogger @markie-devo on Instagram to deliver the scorching-hot news.
"We're cranking up the heat in select McDonald’s locations across the country with the return of our Spicy Chicken McNuggets," read a statement from McDonald's included in the post.
"Breaded with a sizzling tempura coating made with both cayenne and chili peppers, this fan-favorite menu items packs plenty of flavor and spice into each bite," the brand further teased of the Spicy McNuggets, which are currently available at participating locations in 6-piece, 10-piece, 20-piece and 40-piece varieties.
Fans in the comments were nothing short of delighted to hear the news, including one person who rejoiced, "Hell yeahhh."
"Yes please!??" someone else exclaimed.
Some people have already gotten their hands on the fiery flavor of nuggets, including one commenter who wrote, "Had them for first time today. They were fantastic. My McDonald’s always has piping hot excellent food."
Other users were insistent that the fast food company needs to add Spicy Chicken McNuggets to the menu on a permanent basis.
"This made my day! ?? these need to be permanent!" one person urged under the announcement, while another fan echoed, "This needs to be the last time they re-release it. Make it permanent ????."
But as far as we know so far, McDonald's is only planning to have the beloved menu back for a limited time, so eager fans better get them while supplies last!
