Not even global quarantine can stop a hot girl summer.

Megan Thee Stallion brought her signature slogan to life on Sunday during a stellar performance of her two hit songs "Girls in the Hood" and "Savage" for the 20th Annual BET Awards. While artists such as Roddy Ricch and Masego used creatively set designs to bring their virtual sets to life for the totally digital, televised ceremony, Megan took to the desert alongside her crew of dancers for a post-apocalyptic inspired performance. There were motorcycles. There were lace-up leather ensembles. There was top-notch choreography performed against a desert sunset. It was simply—everything.

Megan's powerhouse performance followed her taking home the first win of the night for Best Female Hip-Hop artist earlier in the ceremony. Twitter was quick to praise the rising hip-hop star for her set—even though many were hoping from a possible Beyoncé cameo since she did perform the "Savage" remix, which she released with Queen Bey back in April. Though we normally never say no to a surprise Beyoncé appearance of any sort, Megan proved with her performance tonight that she can shut any awards show down all on her own.
