Meghan's Mom, Doria Ragland, Had the Sweetest Reaction to the Royal Baby News

Following an exciting weekend for fans of the royal family, as Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank at Windsor Castle, Kensington Palace announced that Meghan Markle is expecting her first child with Prince Harry.

Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, has always been extremely close to her daughter, so it's unsurprising that she had the sweetest reaction ever to Meghan's baby news.

According to royal commentator Emily Nash on Twitter, a spokesperson for the palace revealed that Doria "is very happy about this lovely news and is looking forward to welcoming her first grandchild." Basically, Doria is about to be the happiest grandmother of all time:

Just last month, Doria visited Meghan and Harry at Kensington Palace. Importantly, she supported Meghan as the Duchess launched her first solo endeavor as a member of the royal family-a charity cookbook created with a group of women affected by the Grenfell Fire. In hindsight, it's likely that Doria was one of the first people to find out the happy news about the royal baby:

And on Friday, Meghan and Harry stepped out for Princess Eugenie's wedding, revisiting the venue at which their own wedding took place on May 19, 2018. Congratulations to the happy couple on their baby news, and to soon-to-be grandmother Doria Ragland.
