Meghan and Harry Showed Lots of PDA at Event
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made their first appearance since their wedding today at Prince Charles' 70th Birthday garden party. And they looked very much like newlyweds-especially when it came to PDA. The two were a little more handsy than usual, opting to hold hands and then some. But they were still tasteful since they were at a public event for Harry's father. No kisses, not even sneaky ones.
But royal reporters and photographers caught Markle placing her hand on the small of Harry's back while the two were leaving. "Clearly the post wedding glow hasn’t rubbed off given that PDA!" royal reporter Rebecca English mused in her tweet of the footage.
And it’s goodbye from us....(clearly the post wedding glow hasn’t rubbed off given that PDA!) #DukeandDuchessofSussex pic.twitter.com/t2S0DtUZTS

She held onto his arm while they were walking at the party too. It was very sweet and actually, not against royal protocol.
While Harry's brother Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton are rarely affectionate in public, there's no rule stopping them or Harry and his wife from being so. "There is no 'rule' that would prevent the newlyweds from holding hands or being affectionate in public, on their wedding day or any day," Beaumont Etiquette's founder and director Myka Meier, a British-American trained by a former member of the Queen's household told ELLE.com ahead of the wedding.
