Meghan Markle's Royal Wedding Dress Is Going on Display
Meghan Markle's famous Givenchy boat-neck wedding gown will soon go on display at Windsor Castle, The Daily Expressreports. The dress, designed by artistic director Clare Waight Keller, will be the centerpiece of a public exhibition. Sources told The Daily Express that a decision has been made to put the dress on display by the end of this year.
Markle's simply elegant gown comprised of a double-bonded pure white silk, and was paired with a 16-foot tulle veil with organza embroidery. Despite the months-long speculation on who was designing her dress, Markle and Keller were able to keep the news under wraps until the big day. Keller didn't even tell her own family.

"I aimed for a very modern and fresh design, just like I find Meghan to be, so I really wanted to represent her. I wanted her to feel absolutely incredible in the dress and, also, I wanted her to feel like it was absolutely right for the occasion," Keller told WWD.
In 2011, after her wedding to Prince William, Kate Middleton's Alexander McQueen gown by Sarah Burton was displayed for the summer exhibition at Buckingham Palace. The showcase included Kate's earrings, tiara, shoes, and replicas of her flower bouquet and wedding cake.
It was also reported that Queen Elizabeth II was not pleased with the way the dress was displayed. According to the Telegraph, Her Majesty took one look at the display and said it was "horrible." She also was not a fan of the head-less mannequin and said ''It's made to look very creepy," to which Kate responded that it has a ''3D effect."
