Meghan Markle Apparently Hasn't Seen Her Mother Once Since Moving to Los Angeles
We're all feeling a little emotionally exhausted by efforts to remain isolated in our homes to quell the spread of coronavirus. Even Meghan Markle has reportedly been feeling blue while practicing social distancing.
According to a new report in The Sun, Meghan has been "absolutely heartbroken" as of late because she hasn't seen her mother Doria Ragland once ever since making the move with Prince Harry and son Archie to Los Angeles. It's been just over a week since the family left their Canadian abode to make the permanent move to Los Angeles.
Despite living about "ten miles away" from each other, mother and daughter have yet to spend any time together due to Meghan and Harry's self-isolation during the novel coronavirus pandemic.
"Meghan is absolutely heartbroken—after all, one of the main reasons she decided to live in LA was to be near her mum," according to The Sun's source. "Because of her age, Doria obviously has to be careful and Meghan and Harry are sticking rigidly to all formal guidelines when it comes to coronavirus. They've been WhatsApping and FaceTiming almost daily but obviously it's not the same."

The decision to make the move to Los Angeles in the first place was reportedly made because the family had realized that Canada simply wouldn't work out for them for a litany of reasons. Given that they had a support system already in place in Los Angeles, and that Ragland already lived there, the decision was made to set up based in the City of Angels instead.
It can be difficult during these times to stay positive for all of us when spending time with family is out of the question, of course. It looks like Meghan and family aren't taking any chances when it comes to keeping Meghan's mother's well-being in mind, even if it is a bit painful for everyone involved. Currently, staying home and participating in social distancing appears to be the best way for everyone to combat the coronavirus – and if the royals are taking part, it's probably a good idea for you to do it, too.
