Meghan Markle Could Go by "Princess Henry" If King Charles Strips the Sussexes of Their Titles

There's been a lot of speculation about whether or not King Charles will formally strip Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles in the wake of their Netflix docuseries—but apparently it's not gonna happen.

Royal insiders tells Page Six that Charles is unlikely to strip the Sussexes of their titles no matter what is said in Volume II of Harry & Meghan and in Harry's upcoming memoir, Spare.

“Stripping their title is not something the king would likely ever consider…mostly because it would be too petty and punitive,” a source says, adding “It would only lead to the Sussexes claiming that it was a retaliatory action and proof they were never wanted in the royal family.”

And get this: according to Page Six, if Charles *did* strip Harry and Meghan of their Sussex titles, Harry would still be a Prince—and as such Meghan would be able to use the honorific Princess Henry (Henry is Harry's real name).

Anyway, sounds like Meghan and Harry will get to keep their Sussexes titles—but Majesty magazine managing editor Joe Little tells Page Six that they could actually make the decision to relinquish the titles themselves:

“Harry could relinquish his princely title if he wishes, just as Princess Patricia of Connaught, a granddaughter of Queen Victoria, did when she married a commoner just over a century ago.”

Guess we'll see what happens, but Princess Henry has a nice ring to it, just saying!
