Meghan Markle Joined Prince Harry on the Royal Family's Boxing Day Shoot
Contrary to rumors that Meghan Markle had banned Prince Harry from the royal family's annual Boxing Day pheasant shoot, Harry and Meghan were present for the outing on Wednesday. Harry reportedly skipped last year's shoot because of Meghan's stance on animal rights, but this year he participated, the Daily Mail reports, and Meghan even joined for one part of the shoot day festivities.
While Meghan skipped the morning shooting part of the day, she and Kate Middleton joined their husbands Prince Harry and Prince William at the Wood Farm for lunch. The buffet, per Daily Mail, included cold meats, hot sausages, soup and salads, with spirits and tea. Meghan traveled there with her good friend the Queen and Prince Philip.
"The whole thing is incredibly relaxed and everyone is normally in a great mood," a source told Daily Mail of the lunch. The men resumed hunting after the meal, and Meghan and Kate left with the Queen and Prince Philip to have tea with them at Sandringham.
The outlet additionally reported that after the Boxing Day shoot, both young royal couples left Sandringham to go spend time with their other side of their families. Kate and William are said to have gone to Berkshire to reunite with the Middletons, while Harry and Meghan are said to be spending time with Meghan's mom Doria Ragland. Ragland spent her Christmas at her home in Los Angeles but joined Meghan and Harry at their Cotswolds home for a second Christmas in the UK.
