Meghan Markle Joins Prince Harry Via Skype to Celebrate Women's Education in Malawi
Last week, Harry and Meghan's paths on the royal tour of Africa diverged. While Prince Harry traveled to Botswana and Angola, Meghan remained in South Africa, staying with baby Archie, and taking private meetings with women leaders in the community. But this morning, Meghan has found a way to play a role in Harry's visit to Malawi.
The Duchess of Sussex is joining her husband's appearance this morning at the Nalikule College of Education via Skype. Harry is there to celebrate women's education and to highlight CAMA (the Campaign for Female Education Alumnae Association).
In the video here, you can see the connection. The women are singing "Duchess Wathu, Duchess Wamayankho" which means "Our Duchess, Duchess with the solutions."

CAMA, which is associated with the Queen's Commonwealth Trust, is an alumnae network "of more than 100,000 young women who are breaking the cycle and driving real change in their communities, through activism and philanthropy."
These women were attended secondary school with support from the Campaign for Female Education (CAMFED), and now on average, each CAMA member supports an additional three children to go to school.
At this morning's event, Harry was welcomed with a song, and while there, he not only met with leaders in the education community, but also 40 CAMA women.
Meghan joined for a conversation about empowering youth.

Tomorrow, Harry will spend more time in Malawi, visiting Liwonde National Park, where he'll pay tribute to Guardsman Mathew Talbot of the Coldstream Guards, who lost his life on an anti-poaching patrol.
On Tuesday, he'll finish up his time in the country by visiting several health-related initiatives including the Mauwa Health Centre. After that, he'll return to South Africa to reunite with Meghan, and they will finish out the tour in Johannesburg.
