Meghan Markle Just Switched Up Her Hair Again
Meghan Markle was just spotted for the first time since the royal wedding wearing her in an impossibly glossy and sleek low side bun. It's a huge departure from Markle's signature messy bun that hairstylist Serge Normant whipped up for her royal wedding this past weekend.

The low side bun was the perfect choice for under her askew Philip Treacy hat. Her face-framing layers were pulled back tightly, which should make critics of her loose, wispy bridal hairstyle very happy. While we're sure Markle paid no attention to the Internet talk about her royal wedding hair, we do love seeing her experiment with new hairstyles. Nothing says "I'm royalty now" like a classic low bun with not a single hair out of place. While Markle is busy switching up her look, brides all over the world will be taking her official royal wedding portraits to their hairdresser asking to copy her look.
Markle was on her way to a garden party honoring Prince Charles wearing a pale-pink dress by Goat with a sheer top and sleeves. Both her engagement and wedding rings were on full display.

Markle wore two hairstyles on her wedding day. The first was a coiled low updo with face-framing layers tucked behind her ears by celebrity stylist Serge Normant. The second reception look was far more laid-back: a bun with wavy wisps pulled out to frame her face by hairstylist George Northwood.
Normant said he and Markle communicated quite a bit ahead of the big day, but they didn't have to do several bridal hair trials. Instead, they were focused on the "easiest" style for the royal wedding. They were on the same page from the start about the look they were going for, even going as far as creating mood boards. "I think it was a variety of things, as long as it didn't look contrived," he said of the inspirations. "For me, I always think of icons I love, like Audrey Hepburn, all those styles that I still look at a picture of today and still love. I always have little '60s inspirations in my head but I didn't want to do anything set in a time frame. I didn't want too much volume. I wanted something very loose and easy which is why we chose a very loose bun." He added: "It wasn't about reinvention."
