The Invictus Games holds a special place in Prince Harry's heart, and on Tuesday, he and Meghan Markle arrived in Düsseldorf, Germany, to mark the one-year countdown for the 2023 international sporting event for injured, sick, and wounded servicemen and women.

Arriving hand-in-hand, the Sussexes looked in good spirits while at the "One Year to Go" event in honor of the upcoming 6th Invictus Games set to take place in the German city, beginning September 9 of next year.

For the kick-off celebration, Meghan looked gorgeous in an ivory knit turtleneck from Annie Bing, pleated wide-legged cream Brandon Maxwell trousers, and white pumps. It was a shift in colors from last night, when she wore a bright red monochrome outfit to give a keynote address. However, Meghan has long-favored neutrals and monochrome dressing, so the styling choice makes sense for her. Meanwhile, Prince Harry kept it simple in a gray tailored suit.

During the event, Harry and Meghan got to meet with local officials, potential competitors of the 2023 Invictus Games, as well as their friends and family. Prince Harry launched the Invictus Games back in 2014 when he was still a working royal. He and Meghan famously debuted their relationship at the 2017 games in Toronto, and have since attended several of the games together over the years, most recently in The Netherlands earlier this year.

The royal couple's visit to Düsseldorf comes one day after their appearance at the One Young World Summit in Manchester, where Meghan delivered a speech to young attendees. They are expected to head back to the UK for the WellChild Awards 2022, taking place on Thursday.
