From Town & Country

Just over a year ago, Meghan Markle attended the Endeavor Fund Awards alongside fiancé Prince Harry-her first formal royal engagement. Now, she's returning as a full-fledged member of the royal family.

She chose a gorgeous outfit for her second go-round at the Awards. Meghan wore a bespoke Givenchy blouse and skirt, Aquazzura pumps, and a Givenchy clutch. Meghan is an avowed fan of designer Clare Waight Keller's work at Givenchy-even taking the time to present an award to her last year-so the look was hardly a surprise.

It had the same black-and-white color palette as last year's ensemble, an Alexander McQueen pantsuit. The Duchess made waves with that choice, as women in the royal family rarely wear pants to black-tie events.

The Endeavor Fund Awards celebrate "the significant achievement of nine members of the Armed Forces Community who were injured or fell ill in service, but have gone on to use sport and adventurous challenge as part of their recovery and rehabilitation." Harry is deeply involved with the Endeavor fund, and leads it alongside The Royal Foundation. This year, he and Meghan chaired the committee that chose the winners of the annual awards.

All will likely go to plan tonight-but after last year's awards, we know Meghan will be able to save the day if something goes awry. At the 2018 event, Meghan's co-presenter seemed to misplace his papers, making for an awkward moment onstage. Thankfully, Meghan didn't skip a beat, and helped him locate his papers with an onstage confidence only a former actress could conjure. Royal reporter Rebecca English caught the whole thing on video.
