Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and Baby Archie Were Spotted Having a Secret Pub Lunch
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were spotted having a simple pub lunch with their son Archie.
The couple were "on the ground with pub grub like millions of ordinary folk."
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been super out of the spotlight lately, which makes sense: Meghan is still on maternity leave! Plus, the couple have been dealing with some pretty rough press thanks to flying in a private jet–which turned out to be the most dramatic decision of their summer due to trolls that have zero chill whatsoever.
But the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted having a super low-key pub lunch with their baby son Archie, enjoying a £15 Sunday Roast at Rose & Crown in Winkfield, Berkshire.
According to The Daily Mail, Harry had a few pints of beer with his meal, while Meghan appeared to have water. They were also joined by royal protection officers who "kept watch" while they were eating. Meanwhile, an onlooker told The Sun that Meghan spent most of her time holding Archie.
"They were on a table with, I presume, a private secretary," the onlooker said. "Meghan was cradling Archie most of the time. The little lad was as good as gold, I didn't hear him cry once while he was there. No other customers recognized them. The staff clearly knew who they were but kept the service low-key."
He continued, "They did indicate to me they had been there before. They just chatted away like any normal couple and were laughing a lot. After the controversy they have been attracting they were getting their feet back on the ground with pub grub like millions of ordinary folk—and it was nice to see."
