The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are helping Los Angeles area students prepare for the upcoming school year.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle volunteered alongside the LA-based charity Baby2Baby to help distribute donated school supplies, clothing, hygiene supplies, and more to local students in need. Meghan wore a light linen blouse, olive green shorts, Adidas Stan Smith sneakers, and a face mask by Black owned, NYC based brand Royal Jelly for the outing while Prince Harry matched in a white polo shirt, grey shorts and a baseball cap. A source close to the Sussexes tells BAZAAR that both Meghan and Harry were determined to serve every child waiting in line that day and the couple were "nothing but smiles" as they chatted with students and their families that day.

"Baby2Baby was proud to host a drive-through distribution at Knox Elementary in South LA as students across the country return to distance learning this week," wrote the organization alongside the photos of Meghan and Harry. "Thank you to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex for joining our team to help us distribute school supplies, clothing, hygiene items, food and more to children who need these basic essentials more than ever during this unprecedented back to school season."

Baby2Baby is a leading non-profit that has remained at the forefront of COVID-19 relief in recent months. Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic in March, the organization has donated over 30 million critical items to children and students in need.

Alongside taking time to volunteer in and around Los Angeles, Meghan and Harry have also prioritized virtually chatting with organizations about racial justice and helped deliver meals to immunocompromised individuals amid the pandemic. The couple also recently moved to Santa Barbara with their one-year-old son, Archie.
