Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Left the Nicest Comment on Prince George's Birthday Instagram
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry continued their tradition today of commenting on the birthday posts that Kate Middleton and Prince William share on their KensingtonRoyal Instagram account to mark their family's birthdays.
Today is Prince George's sixth birthday, and Kensington Palace posted three Instagrams to mark it last night. Each was a new portrait of the prince that his mother Kate took. Meghan and Harry chose to comment on the second photo taken of George—the one taken during a vacation with his family, where he's not wearing a soccer jersey.
From their SussexRoyal Instagram, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wrote a sweet, emoji-filled message to George: "Happy Birthday ???? Wishing you a very special day and lots of love!"
This is their fourth birthday message they've shared on the KensingtonRoyal Instagram this year. They also publicly wished Prince William, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis a happy birthday earlier this year. (They did not have their own Instagram during Kate Middleton's birthday on January 9.)
For Prince William's birthday in June, they wrote, "Happy Birthday to the Duke of Cambridge!" It was their most formal of the birthday wishes, but William is an adult and future king.
Meghan and Harry were much more casual with their messages to William and Kate's two other children during their birthdays. For Charlotte's birthday in May, they wrote from their SussexRoyal handle: "Happy Birthday, Charlotte! ???? Lots of love, H and M xo."
And for Louis's birthday in April, they commented: "Happy Birthday Louis! Sending lots of love from both of us ???? xo."
