Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped out last night for one of their final engagements before officially stepping down from senior royal duties, attending The Endeavour Fund Awards in London.

And the night got unexpectedly romantic thanks to a surprise proposal, which !!!!!. After winning the Recognizing Achievement Award, veteran Danny Holland called his girlfriend up to the stage and popped the question in front of Meghan and Harry (and, um, the rest of the audience). As a reminder, Meghan and Harry will be officially stepping down from their royal duties on March 31. They're currently living in Canada with their son Archie, but are rumored to be eyeing a place in Los Angeles—which, reminder, is where Meghan is from. It's unclear exactly what's ahead for these two, but they have the full support of the Queen as they make the transition to financial independence. In fact, Harry and Her Majesty recently had a four-hour heart-to-heart where they hashed out some of the ~drama~ and the Queen allegedly told her grandson “You are much loved and will always be welcomed back.”
