Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Will Spend Christmas With the Queen
Get ready for these family photos. Following their engagement, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be spending the holidays with their family members this year—the Queen, of course, included.
Kensington Palace confirmed the speculation on Wednesday, December 13, announcing to outlets: “You can expect to see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry and Ms. Markle at Sandringham on Christmas Day.”
Sandringham House in Norfolk is a holiday tradition for the royal family. Members usually travel from London to the countryside estate, located about 110 miles away from the city center, to enjoy the festivities that typically kick off with a Christmas Eve gift exchange.
On Christmas Day, the family attends service at St. Mary Magadalene Church (where Princess Charlotte was christened) on the holiday before making their way to a lunch. Oftentimes, members of the British Royal brood have been photographed strolling through the woods and enjoying the scenic area.
The palace shared no further details about the occasion, but it’s believed that the currently engaged pair will likely stay with Prince William and Kate Middleton at Anmer Hall located within a short distance to Sandringham House.
Markle, the future aunt to Prince George and Princess Charlotte, will likely be spending Christmas morning with the kids and Middleton, who is currently expecting her third child with William.
