Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's post-wedding thank-you cards revealed
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the honeymoon … and then comes the post-wedding admin.
While newlyweds Meghan Markle and Prince Harry can’t technically escape the chore of sending thank-you cards to wedding guests and well-wishers, it’s a safe bet that they have plenty of palace staff to arrange all the envelope licking and fumbling around for mailing addresses.
According to an Instagram account that documents royal correspondence, the newly minted Duke and Duchess of Sussex have sent out cards featuring their Alexi Lubomirski wedding photos. The cards come in envelopes embossed with the official Kensington Palace logo, but sadly there’s no confirmation as to whether the couple used their own Royal Mail stamps commemorating their wedding May 19. But, honestly, who wouldn’t?

The card includes a typed message to the recipient.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been overwhelmed by all the incredibly kind cards and letters they have received on the occasion of their wedding, and are so touched that you took the trouble to write as you did,” the message reads.
“It really was most thoughtful of you and greatly appreciated by Their Royal Highnesses who send you their very best wishes.”
The card is unsigned — which is a pity, considering Meghan’s past career as a calligrapher. Still, it’s definitely one for the mantel.
