Meghan Markle will reportedly be making her own baby food
As a royal, it may be easy to believe that the Duchess of Sussex will make use of every resource at her disposal, from chefs to nannies. But new reports reveal that the mom-to-be will be taking a very hands-on approach with her newborn -- and that includes making her own baby food.
“Her California roots are coming through," said an insider to People magazine.
“She eats cleaner, and she’ll probably make her own baby food,” the source continued. “It’s going to be clean living for this baby.” It's an approach she's continued throughout her pregnancy, not with just food, but with everything in the home as well, from cleaning supplies to the eco-friendly vegan paint she reportedly chose for the baby's nursery at Frogmore Cottage.

“She’s being mindful of what she puts in her body and on her skin and even her at-home cleaning supplies,” the source continued. “She’s hyperaware of what she’s using. She’s looking for natural things.”
The duchess has even been determined to follow a natural birthing plan when the baby arrives later this spring. According to reports, she has been preparing for an all-natural birth with acupuncture and hypnobirthing.
“Meg wants a natural birth if she can have one," said a source to Vanity Fair. "Her mother is very into anything that is holistic and natural, and having been brought up with yoga and mindfulness, it’s all very much part of Meghan’s birth plan."
