Meghan Markle Reveals First Product From New Lifestyle Brand American Riviera Orchard
After announcing her new lifestyle brand in March, Meghan Markle’s first American Riviera Orchard product was revealed on Monday.
Influencers and friends of the former royal, including designer Tracy Robbins, took to Instagram to share their American Riviera Orchard gift baskets, which featured a jar of homemade strawberry jam.

“@americanrivieraorchard breakfast, lunch and dinner just got a little sweeter ??,” Robbins, who is married to Paramount’s president and chief executive officer, Brian Robbins, wrote. “Thank you for the delicious basket! I absolutely love this jam so not sure I’m sharing with anyone. Thank you, M!”
Other notable recipients included Argentinian socialite Delfina Blaquier, who attended Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding in 2018.
“Strawberry jam makes me happy. And I love your jam, @AmericanRivieraOrchard,” Blaquier shared on Instagram.
The brand’s name references the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s current home, Santa Barbara, Calif., which has been referred to as the “American Riviera.” The couple resides in the beachside city’s upscale neighborhood of Montecito, where Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres and Ariana Grande also have homes.
Per a trademark filing, American Riviera Orchard plans to sell cookbooks, tableware, drinkware and servingware at retail stores and online. The company has also registered to manufacture food and beverages, including jams, fruit preserves, vegetable-based spreads and more.

Alongside the reveal of her new brand, Markle debuted a teaser video on American Riviera Orchard’s Instagram account, which depicts the Duchess of Sussex in her garden and kitchen.
Markle and Prince Harry relocated to California in 2020 after stepping down from their positions as senior members of the British royal family. The couple will raise their two children, Archie and Lilibet, in Montecito.
Markle has previously dabbled in the lifestyle space: prior to her engagement to Prince Harry, she ran a blog called “The Tig” from 2014 to 2017, where she shared food and travel tips.
On Friday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a polo match in Wellington, Fla. Markle wore a halterneck cutout dress by Heidi Merrick.
