Meghan Markle Reveals Which Holiday Tradition She Most Looks Forward to With Prince Archie & Princess Lilibet

While making a rare appearance at Variety‘s Power of Women event on Thursday, the Duchess of Sussex shared that, though she and Prince Harry have celebrated the holiday season a little differently each year, they love the memories they’ve been able to make with Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2.

Of their Christmas traditions, Meghan told E! News, “We’re creating new ones now that our little ones are growing up. And we’re enjoying every moment of it.” She also revealed her personal favorite holiday activity as a mom, sharing, “I love trimming and decorating the tree with my children.” Such a warm, cozy, and nostalgic part of the season!
Though Harry and Meghan are still estranged from Prince William, Kate Middleton, and the rest of the royal family, the Sussexes have exchanged Christmas gifts with the Waleses on behalf of their combined five kids for the past several years. A source reported the tradition would take place last holiday season, even though the relationship between the two brothers was still icy. While reports are yet to surface about whether the tradition will stand this year, we’re sure the estranged princes will continue the gift swap for the sake of their children and the holiday season.
