On the royal tour in South Africa last October, Meghan Markle wore a maxi shirt dress from Staud — the editor- and influencer-approved brand that’s now proven to be fit for royalty. Made from 100 percent recycled nylon, the sustainable dress features front welt pockets, a belt to nip you in at the waist, and a full-length design.
At the time that Meghan wore it, the dress was only available for preorder. Now, after five long months, the wait is over, and you can finally get your hands on Meghan’s dress.
The khaki dress is available in sizes 00-16 and is cut to be universally flattering. It also comes in black, if that’s more your speed. At the time that Meghan wore the dress on her royal tour, Staud co-founder Sarah Staudinger told People, “The eyes of the world are constantly on the royal family, so it is very meaningful that the Duchess has placed a focus on sustainability. We are honored that she chose to wear a dress from our brand.”
The belted shirt dress was Meghan’s silhouette of choice on the royal tour, and she wore similar styles on every day of the tour. Here are five affordable ways to wear the duchess’s casual, easy look.
