Meghan Markle Wears a Blue Blazer for the Royal Couple's Second Day in Morocco
Meghan Markle stepped out with Prince Harry for a day of royal engagements in Morocco.
The Duchess wore a blue blazer over a black shirt and jeans.
After a week living it up in New York, enjoying a baby shower alongside the likes of Serena Williams and Amal Clooney, Meghan Markle seems to be settling back in to her regular royal duties. Of course, it's not too hard to get excited about your job when it involves exploring Morocco.
This morning, Meghan chose a perfect outfit for a long day of visits and meet-and-greets. She wore a blue Alice and Olivia blazer with a black top and jeans, a look which she paired with oversized black sunglasses and her Birdies slippers.
The Duchess, alongside her husband Prince Harry, is embarking on a quick, but jam-packed trip around Morocco. The royal couple arrived yesterday, and their engagements began in earnest this morning.
A spokesperson from Kensington Palace explained to People that Harry and Meghan hope to support causes close to their hearts during the trip. "It will build on the close relationship between the U.K. and Morocco," the spokesperson explained. "The Duke and Duchess are looking forward to the visit which will highlight the vital roles that girls’ education and youth empowerment are playing in, and shaping, modern Morocco."
The British Ambassador to Morocco, Thomas Reilly, echoed similar sentiments in a recent tweet. "The visit is a recognition of the strong relationship between our two countries," he wrote. "It is a chance to enjoy #Morocco’s history and look to its future, focusing on the role of women, youth and #education in making that future @UKinMorocco."
