Meghan Markle Wore a Thing: 'Suits'-Era The Row Sweater Edition

Dara Prant

The Duchess of Sussex is enjoying life post-"Megxit" in Rachel Zane's wardrobe.

Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect? with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."

The Duchess of Sussex made her first public appearance since last week's historic "Megxit" announcement. Her new chapter began with a visit to the Downtown Eastside Women's Centre in Vancouver, where, according to the center's Facebook page, Markle discussed issues affecting the community.

For the occasion, the Duchess donned a cream-colored cable-knit cashmere sweater by The Row — one that Twitter users were quick to point out dates back to her "Suits" days: Apparently, she wore that very knit when she played attorney Rachel Zane.

The "as seen on TV" top was paired with black fitted pants and brown, quilted Le Chameau boots. She fled the scene on a seaplane, bundled up in Barbour's seaweed green Epler parka (purchase a similar version here).
