Meghan Markle's due date is fast approaching and, as it was previously reported, the Duchess of Sussex is due to have another baby shower, this time in England. Her mother, Doria Ragland, will be in attendance, a source tells BAZAAR.com.
According to the insider, Doria will travel to the United Kingdom before the birth of Harry and Meghan's first baby. Ahead of the little one's arrival, there will be an intimate baby shower for a select group of Meghan's friends in England, with Ragland also in attendance. (The West Coast-based mom was spotted in L.A. during Meghan's earlier baby shower festivities with friends in New York in February.) This soirée will allegedly be a comparatively low-key affair compared to the duchess' NYC pre-baby festivities last month.
The Duchess of Sussex's epic baby shower in New York featured a whole host of special guests (like Serena Williams, Amal Clooney, Gayle King, and Abigail Spencer), a flower-arranging workshop, stork-themed cookies, and incredible outfits.
While attending a special reception at Buckingham Palace in honor of the 50th anniversary of Prince Charles' Investiture in early March, Meghan spoke about her baby's due date. The mom-to-be revealed to a guest at the reception, "We're nearly there," in response to a question about the royal baby's anticipated arrival. Considering baby Sussex could be due as soon as April 2019, it's understandable that Ragland plans to fly to London from Los Angeles sometime in the next few weeks to spend time with Meghan.
