Meghan Markle's wax figure has been revealed — and it actually looks like her

Which is more exciting: marrying a prince or being immortalized in wax?

Only Meghan Markle knows for sure, as she has been honored with her own Madame Tussauds waxwork. The museum’s London branch has unveiled its latest creation just in time for the May 19 royal wedding.

Positioned next to fiancé Prince Harry against a wedding-inspired background, Markle’s waxwork sports long, loose waves, a rather large engagement ring that’s a dead ringer for her own, and a chic hunter green — her go-to color of late — sheath dress by P.A.R.O.S.H., which is the same one she wore for her engagement announcement. Her heels, meanwhile, appear to be a light gray.

While the recently revealed Melania Trump figure was criticized for looking more like Sarah Jessica Parker than POTUS, they seem to have nailed it with Markle’s double. We might add a smart handbag and a pack of paparazzi, but the likeness is uncanny.

“It’s clear that the public has already taken Meghan to their hearts,” said Edward Fuller, general manager at Madame Tussauds London, in a March statement announcing plans for a Markle figure. “One half of arguably the most famous couple in the world right now, she’s already made her own mark as a humanitarian and role model. We’re excited to give guests the chance to ‘meet’ her … later this year.”

Members of the public can bond with the bride-to-be beginning May 18. Meanwhile, New York’s Madame Tussauds is expected to introduce its own Markle waxwork — with a different pose and a dress by Self-Portrait.
