The royal family attended a reception in Prince Charles' honor at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Investiture of the Prince of Wales. While Charles received the title The Prince of Wales in 1958 when he was just 9-years-old, his Investiture Ceremony didn't take place until July 1, 1969.

Attending the celebration alongside her husband Prince Harry, Meghan Markle looked completely stunning wearing a brocade dress with a chic white coat:

Meghan's coat is Amanda Wakeley's Cream Sculpted Tailoring Crombie Coat, as spotted by Twitter user @MeghansMirror. The stylish coat is still available to shop, and it's worth noting that this isn't the first time we've seen Meghan in this particular item. The Duchess of Sussex also wore the coat back in March 2018 for her first official royal event with Queen Elizabeth II, attending Westminster Abbey to celebrate Commonwealth Day.

Also in attendance at the important reception were Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, Queen Elizabeth, and Princess Anne.

Per royal correspondent Victoria Murphy, "This reception will mark The Prince of Wales’s fifty years of service to Wales, the UK and Commonwealth, and will celebrate Welsh charities, organizations and businesses. Guests include leading figures in Welsh and UK public life."

In November 2018, Season 3 of The Crown painstakingly recreated Prince Charles' 1969 Investiture Ceremony, promising an accurate portrayal of the historical event.

In the same month, Prince Charles celebrated his 70th birthday. At his birthday celebration, Queen Elizabeth toasted the prince saying, "Over his 70 years, Philip and I have seen Charles become a champion of conservation and the arts, a great charitable leader - a dedicated and respected heir to the throne to stand comparison with any in history - and a wonderful father."
