After reports last fall that Melania Trump had "cast aside" her anti-cyberbullying initiative, the first lady is picking up the cause yet again. On Monday, Melania gave a speech at a luncheon for the spouses of this country's governors in which she called for "positive habits on social media."

"As I have said before, it is important that as adults we take the lead and responsibility in helping our children manage the many issues they’re facing today," the first lady said.

"This means encouraging positive habits on social media and technology, even limiting time online and understanding the content they are exposed to on a daily basis."

"I am asking you all to join me today and commit to promoting values such as encouragement, kindness, compassion and respect in our children," Melania, who has one son, 11-year-old Barron, continued.

Many think the First Lady's campaign for positive behavior on the Internet should begin at home. Her husband President Donald Trump is known for his volatile behavior on Twitter, and this speech comes just days after a survivor of the Parkland, Florida school shooting sent a tweet to Melania about her step-son, Donald Trump Jr.

"Hey @FLOTUS you say that your mission as First Lady is to stop cyber bullying, well then, don’t you think it would have been smart to have a convo with your step-son @DonaldJTrumpJr before he liked a post about a false conspiracy theory which in turn put a target on my back & created a safe space for people all over the world to call me and my family horrific things that constantly re-victimizes us and our community," tweeted Lauren Hogg, a 14-year-old student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, whose brother David Hogg has become a face of the current youth-led gun control movement.

"I’m 14 I should never have had to deal with any of this and even though I thought it couldn’t get worse it has because of your family," she continued.

Per CNN, Trump Jr. "liked a tweet promoting a false conspiracy theory that claimed that Lauren Hogg's older brother, David, had been coached by his father - a former FBI agent - to speak out against President Donald Trump."

Melania has yet to respond publicly to Hogg's tweets.
