Melanie Liburd Is Now a ‘This Is Us’ Season 3 Series Regular & That Means Good News for Kevin

It looks like things are about to get pretty serious for This Is Us character Kevin Pearson and his new lady love, Zoe.

Melanie Liburd, who plays Kevin’s (Justin Hartley) new girlfriend, has signed on to the hit NBC show’s third season as a series regular, according to The Hollywood Reporter. That means we’ll be seeing a lot more of her.

We first met Zoe, Beth’s (Susan Kelechi Watson) cousin, in the season two finale when she was the photographer at Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby’s (Chris Sullivan) wedding. In the episode’s much-talked-about flash forward scenes, we even saw Kevin and Zoe traveling to Vietnam together. Series creator Dan Fogelman also confirmed their relationship will play a large part in the forthcoming season.

It seems Zoe and Kevin’s relationship will stand the test of time season three. Sorry, Sophie.
