Merry Christmas: There's a Video of Prince Harry in a Full-On Santa Suit
Prince Harry is getting into the holiday spirit as only a new father, charmed by the holiday season through the eyes of his little one, can. The 35-year-old royal dressed up as the jolly Saint Nick to bring smiles to the faces of families of fallen soldiers for the charity Scotty's Little Soldiers. The post, of the prince in the red suit, ended up all over Twitter: People clearly appreciate this version of Santa Claus.
"Ho, ho, ho," the Prince began his greeting (a good start, considering his character). "Hi, guys; everyone at Scotty's Little Soldiers, I hope you're having an amazing time. I hear there's 190 of you there this year, so please cause as much chaos as humanly possible."
Then, Harry, who became a dad to his son, Archie, this year, had a serious and comforting message for the children.
"I also want you to look around and realize that you're a part of a family, part of an amazing community and that there's support there for you every single day, should you need it."
He also spoke with empathy about grieving the loss of a parent, something he had to do in 1997, when his mother, Princess Diana, died.
"Yes, losing a parent is incredibly hard, but I know that every single one of you, by helping each other out that you will have an amazing future ahead of you and you're going to have an amazing Christmas as well," he said.
This year, Harry, Meghan Markle, and baby Archie are spending Christmas in Canada with Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland, instead of celebrating the holidays with the royal family in England.
