Meryl Streep Chugging a Martini in Her Bathrobe Is The Most Relatable She's Ever Been

Over the years, Meryl Streep has given us so much. Academy Award winning films, blood-curdling screams, and of course, a cheering gif that's there for every appropriate moment on Twitter. This week, she's continuing her legacy of GIVING in a new video for the Take Me To The World: A Sondheim 90th Birthday Celebration.

The event, which raised money for Artists Striving To End Poverty, saw Streep join Christine Baranski and Audra McDonald for a performance of “Ladies Who Lunch” from Sondheim's Company.

All three actresses joined in their bathrobes, fully prepared for the "I'll drink to that line" of the song with cocktails. Streep opted for an ever-classy martini with a twist which she proceeded to make and then chug.

Not surprisingly, there has been no shortage of unhinged celebrity content (both good and bad) since quarantine began last month. Stanley Tucci is making us negroni's, Dakota Johnson is out here looking too good in fitted jeans, and now one Meryl Streep is giving us sing-a-long martini chugging content. At least there is that.
