Meryl Streep Goes Classic in Toteme Silk Shirt and Black Suit at the Princesa de Asturias Awards 2023 With Antonio Banderas

Meryl Streep donned a tailored look while attending the “Sin Guion” conference during the 2023 Princesa de Asturias Awards on Wednesday in Oviedo, Spain, opting for a classic suit and Toteme blouse.

For the prestigious arts occasion, where Streep was honored, the actress wore an embroidered-border silk shirt with chevron bordering. The actress tied her sharp look together with a black blazer, high-waist trousers and glasses.

During the event, the actress joined fellow actor Antonio Banderas for an intimate conversation about her career. Streep was also the recipient of one of the highest honors at this year’s awards: the Princess Asturias Award.

Also on Wednesday, Streep attended the “Meryl’s Decisions” meeting with students at the La Fabrica de Armas cultural center in Oviedo, Spain wearing a red and black Marni set which featured red leaves printed throughout.

Streep is one of the most notable actresses of the 21st century, having won three Oscars and secured 32 Golden Globe nominations. Across the span of her five-decade-long career, she has starred in “Don’t Look Up,” “Little Women,” “Mamma Mia!” “The Devil Wears Prada” and more films.

The Princesa de Asturias Awards feature a number of annual prizes for organizations, entities and individuals who make notable change in the sciences, humanities and public affairs. Hosted by the Princess of Asturias Foundation, past winners of the Princess Asturias Award include Peter Brook, María Pagés and Serbian artist Marina Abramovi?.
