Met Gala 2018: Rihanna dressed up as the Pope in jaw-dropping Maison Margiela look
The queen of the Met Gala has arrived! Rihanna -- one of the co-chair's of this year's gala -- hit the steps of The Met on Monday night in a look that took the theme "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" quite literally.
The Fenty designer dressed up as the Pope (!!!) in a bejeweled strapless mini dress with a built-in skirt, an oversized robe and miter. RiRi didn't come to play, ladies and gents!
She completed the look with a pair of sky-high Christian Louboutin stilettos in a gunmetal hue, while her body dripped with sparkling jewels from Cartier. The songstress styled her long dark tresses in an updo, putting all the attention on her ornate hat -- and rightfully so!
The 30-year-old singer, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, is co-hosting this year's event with Donatella Versace, Amal Clooney and Anna Wintour. For the rest of the red carpet looks, click through the slideshow below!
