Michael J. Fox Poses for Photos During Date Night With Longtime Wife

Michael J. Fox and his wife, Tracy Pollan, have been married for more than 35 years — and they're a testament to why date night is still important in a long-term commitment.
On Wednesday, Oct. 18, the Back to the Future actor and Family Ties actress stepped out for a date at the Good+Foundation's “A Very Good+ Night of Comedy” benefit. The couple smiled for photos during the event, which was held at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
The twosome certainly looked more in love than ever, with the pair color-coordinating their respective looks for the red carpet. Pollan donned a navy and cream patterned outfit, while Fox wore a simple white t-shirt under a chic, dark blazer.
Fox, 61, and Pollan, 62, said "I do" in July 1988, and they share four adult children: a son, Sam, twin daughters, Aquinnah and Schuyler, and a third daughter, Esmé.
In May, the Hollywood couple opened up about their secret to a long and happy marriage. “We give each other space to make mistakes,” Fox told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “Always remember that. Don’t perceive slights. That’s what’s beautiful about marriage, it’s us two.”
Meanwhile, Pollan shared similar thoughts about their relationship with People in March. "I think we really listen to each other, we are there for each other when we need each other," she told the publication. "And then we also give each other space when that's needed. Just feeling off of what's needed at the moment and trying to be there."
Fox added, "Tracy gives our family everything that we need. Any good in our family, anything good that we do, comes from her."

On July 16, Fox took to Instagram to share a tribute to his wife on their 35th wedding anniversary. "35 years of laughter, living, listening and loving you @tracy.pollan. Thank you for it all. Forever yours, Mike."
Pollan wrote on her own Instagram grid, "35 years!!! Happy anniversary my love. Here's to many more glorious adventures together. I could not love you more."
Fox and Pollan are #couplegoals, for sure.
