Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan Say *This* Is the Secret to Their 30-Year Marriage

Long-lasting celebrity relationships are a dime a dozen, so when one of the OG celeb couples gets real about what make theirs work, we're all ears. 

Such is the case with Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan, who recently opened up to People about their 30-year marriage. 

The two met in the summer of 1985, when Pollan auditioned for Family Ties. They started dating in 1987 and got married a year later.

So what's the key to their longevity? According to Pollan, “Just give each other the benefit of the doubt. He assumes I’m doing the best I can.” Swoon. 

For Fox's part, he says, “Find the best things about you and the best things about life and celebrate them.”
