Michael Strahan Poses for Rare Photo With Girlfriend at Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony
The TV personality and former NFL player was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Jan. 23.
Michael Strahan, a former New York Giants defensive end and current co-host of Good Morning America, finally got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, Jan. 23, in a ceremony in Los Angeles, California.
The 51-year-old was honored with friends and family by his side, including his longtime girlfriend, Kayla Quick.
The couple posed for photos behind Strahan's unveiled star, with the TV host appearing in a sleek plaid suit in shades of blue, while Quick wore a sparkling silver dress covered by a tan coat.
Quick and Strahan reportedly started dating in 2015, and they've managed to keep their relationship private over the years.
She doesn't often appear on her high-profile partner's social media, with one of the last times she was in a photo on his Instagram being in December 2021, when Strahan posted a picture of himself, Quick, and three of his four children–Michael Jr., Isabella, and Sophia–all wearing matching pajamas.
For work, Quick runs her own wellness brand, Fizzness, co-founded by Jamie Giardino.
Along with Quick, the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony was also attended by Strahan's mother, Louise Strahan, and his three daughters, Isabella, Sophia, and Tanita.
Strahan's close friend, actor and TV host Terry Crews, introduced the star at the ceremony, saying, "There is nothing that symbolizes stardom more than Strahan," as reported by ABC News.
He continued, "We're former athletes and you know, the thing is -- I remember when you retired and we were sitting there talking about, 'Should I try this Hollywood thing?'"
"When I see everything you've done since then, it's so truly inspiring to me, to every person out there as a Black man, as an athlete, as every American should strive to be the kind of person you are. And the one word I have for Michael Strahan is 'integrity,'" concluded Crews.
Strahan's Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts was also at the ceremony, with Strahan telling her, "I love you, Robin. You came all the way out here. Now, I’ve gotta buy you a nicer Christmas gift."
