The former First Lady also shared the book's first promotional image on Instagram:

The book's official website describes the text as "a work of deep reflection and mesmerizing storytelling." It will recount not only Obama's time in the White House, but also her childhood in Chicago and her experience as a working mother.

"With unerring honesty and lively wit, she describes her triumphs and her disappointments, both public and private, telling her full story as she has lived it - in her own words and on her own terms," continues the promotional prose.

Penguin Random House also shared that Obama will be going on tour, though dates and additional information have yet to be released.
